Working / Learning from Home (English Version)

As Movement Control Order (MCO) is in effect, we are confined to our homes to work and learn.

Hence we should take precaution to prepare ourselves not to fall victims to cyber crimes.



  1. Use a secure browser: update your browser to the latest version.
  2. Make sure your password is reliable/ secure. Click here to check how reliable your password is. 。
  3. Do not reply to links from unknown emails.
  4. Do not click on the links from unknown SMS.
  5. Do not click on pop up advertisements on websites. 
  6. Key in your online banking URL correctly. Do not access your online finance website through advertisements / third party website. 
  7. Do not provide/ share your TAC or PIN number to others. 
  8. Download, install, update your antivirus software / apps on your computer, smartphone, tablet. 
  9. Perform a virus scan before downloading / saving files from the internet. 
  10. If you have doubts, upload and scan the file here. You could have the website URL scanned as well.

  12. Turn off your phone GPS if you don't need it.
  13. Protect your privacy in photos / videos taken.
  14. Be aware of who your family members are interacting online.
